Ecclesiastes  6:1 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among men:  6:2 A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.  6:3 If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he.  6:4 For he cometh in with vanity, and departeth in darkness, and his name shall be covered with darkness.  6:5 Moreover he hath not seen the sun, nor known any thing: this hath more rest than the other.  6:6 Yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place?  6:7 All the labour of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.  6:8 For what hath the wise more than the fool? what hath the poor, that knoweth to walk before the living?  6:9 Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also vanity and vexation of spirit.  6:10 That which hath been is named already, and it is known that it is man: neither may he contend with him that is mightier than he.  6:11 Seeing there be many things that increase vanity, what is man the better?  6:12 For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?

What is vanity?: Vanity means that which is vain, futile, or worthless; that which is of no value, use or profit. Ecc:1:2

There are seven points to study.
1: Life is unsatiated, unsteady, inconstant, unstable and unbalanced. You can read Ecc.8:14,James 4:13-15 and Luke 12:11-21.

2: No Satisfaction in this world. Ecc.5:13-16.

3: Life give no Joy. Jhn 15:11,Ecc 2:24;2:26,Prov 17:21,Isa 29:19,Ps 35:9;43:4;51:12,Luk 2:10,Act 2:26 and Rom 5:11;15:13. Is only almighty God that can give you joy through his son Jesus Christ.

4: When life give you new level expect the opposite side. If the new level is from God,it will last and nobody can take it away from you.

5: Life provides riches of sorrow. Ecc 5:13-17;2:17-20 and Mt 16:26.

6: Life is an ordinary shadow. Ecc 6:11-12, 1Chro.29:15, Job 8:9;17:7 and Ps 144:4.

7: There is no permanent in this World. Nothing is permanent on this Earth, both living and not living things we all have a short period to live on this earth.

As a christian you must be cautious. 1: Take your attention away from the things of this world, your attention should be on life after death I mean the things of Heaven. 2: Fear the Almighty God and keep his commandments. Ecc 12:13-14.

I want to use this opportunity to urge you all to accept Jesus Christ as your lord and personal saviour,if you don’t have Christ you lack everything in life and you are living a vanity life.
My prayer for you all is that we will all make heaven in Jesus name. Amen

EVIDENCE OF SALVATION

EVIDENCE OF SALVATION

2 Corinthians 5:17 says:
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away ; behold, new things have come.

God has provided us with many benefits and blessings in order for us to live a life that’s pleasing to Him. These are part of the “New things” found in 2 Corinthians 5:17. Some of those benefits and blessings can be seen in Ephesians chapter 1.

Ephesians 1:13 says:
13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation -having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise.

We were saved by believing the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and not by any works whatsoever. Ephesians 1:13 says that after we believed we were sealed by the promised Holy Spirit, and verse 14 says:

Ephesians 1:14 says:
14 who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.

God has made a pledge to us by giving us the Holy Spirit, He is our engagement ring so to speak, a promise from God. Also according to Ephesians 1:3-5, we have been given every spiritual blessing (v3), we have been chosen (v4), and we have been predestined to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself (v5).

So what about the one who states he is a believer yet never is seen living the Christian life? Is he saved or is he not saved?

We must go to scripture to obtain an answer.

In Paul’s first letter to the church at Corinth, he begins by reminding them of some of the things that were evident after they believed.

1 Corinthians 1:4-8 says:
4 I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus,
5 that in everything you were enriched in Him, in all speech and all knowledge,
6 even as the testimony concerning Christ was confirmed in you,
7 so that you are not lacking in any gift, awaiting eagerly the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ,
8 who will also confirm you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1st Corinthians was written to a church that was in chaos spiritually.
These believers were out of control, there were moral problems, divisions, and many believers were in a carnal state. However even with all these problems, Paul begins this letter by stating that the Lord Jesus Christ will confirm them blameless in the end (vs 7-8).

Paul could write this because as mentioned in verses 4-7, there was evidence of their salvation. And that’s the key!

I believe that the moment a person gets saved, God’s places in him a desire for His Word.

1 Peter 1:23 says:
23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.

1 Peter 2:2 says:
2 like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation.

A person who is truly saved will show evidence of their new life by manifesting a desire to learn and grow from the word of God.

However, there are many that claim to be saved, did manifest a desire for God’s Word and were even in God’s word for a long period of time, but now live as if they were never saved, showing no desire to be in God’s word, or to live the Christian Life. What about them?

In his book “Tortured for Christ” Richard Wurmbrand explains that starvation does not come from the lack of food, but from the lack of desire for that food. If a person stops eating, the desire to eat diminishes and eating eventually ceases, and this is what causes the starvation.

1 Peter 2:2 states that like newborn babes believers need to long for the milk of the word. But remember that these believers are babes and cannot feed themselves properly. Therefore it is the responsibility of those in the Body of Christ to ensure that new believers are fed the pure Word of God.

Many of the folks that we meet who claim that they are believers but are not living the Christian life may be believers who are starving spiritually. I have found that when I meet some of these people, frequently an encouraging word from the scriptures often brings back those spiritual desires that have been put aside for so many years and they again begin to grow in Gods Word.

Not everyone who says that they are saved is saved. We must look for evidence before we can be sure. But there are many Christians who appear to be living a defeated life, and are suffering from spiritual malnutrition. These folks need a Good healthy diet from God’s Word which will bring them back to spiritual health.

DOES CONFESSION SAVE YOU?

DOES CONFESSION SAVE YOU?

Confessing your sin and making a public profession of faith does not save you. Scripture is very clear.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 says:
1 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand,
2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 contains that which is needed for one to be saved. I order to be saved, we need to believe that Christ died for our sins, and then three days latter He rose from the dead. It does not say anything about repenting of sins or making public confessions. Repentance comes when we believe that Christ died for our sins. The word repent (Greek Metanoeo Strongs# G3340), means to have a change of mind or a change of direction. When we believe that Christ died for our sins, we are agreeing with God that we are sinners who are in need of a savior. That is what repentance is, having a change of mind.

And were does it say that we are to make a public confession in order to be saved? It does not say anything about a public confession in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. It says that we need to believe that Christ died for our sins and that He rose again from the dead. BTW just believing that Christ died for your sins alone does not save us. We must believe that after He died, He rose again from the grave. Anyone can die, but only God can raise one from the dead. That is the supernatural element of our salvation – Christ’s resurrection, and without our faith is in vain (1 Corinthians 15:12-14).

Furthermore, Those who are really saved, will show a desire for the pure milk of the word of God.

1 Peter 2:2-3 says:
2 Like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation,
3 if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.

God’s seed is now in us. This seed finds it’s source in the living word of God.

1 Peter 1:23 says:
For you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.

God gives every true believer in Jesus Christ a desire for His word the moment they believe the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). If someone claims to be saved, and has never shown any desire for God’s word, then I would seriously question that person’s salvation.

“Lite 4 Ur Path”

“For this is the message that you heard from the beginning,
that we should love one another.( 1 Jn 3:11)

God never says to hate anyone. He never tells us kill anyone.

However when we are following His example, and we find ourselves inside the
camp of the evil one; Then God tells us that we are not to be like them.

Just as a candle can help you to navigate a dark room, Jesus helps us to
navigate our danger zones. We are to Fear God, cause all the enemy can
do to us is to kill the body. If our spirit is dead, then we will be thrown into
the firey pit with satan. Therefore Reverence for the Lord is the
beginning of wisdom.

Prayer: Father I ask for the angel of the Lord to encamp
around about my life, my walk, my childrens walk and steps.
Cause just as I believe that YOU are My God, satan has
followers too,Thou doest well, to believe and to tremble,
as the Fear of the Lord is a blessing.AMEN!akinyemi

FORGIVENESS

Good day brothers and sisters! May we all walk in the love and obedience of our Father God, so that we may walk in our Father Gods blessing in Jesus! Amen! When Jesus died and took on our punishment for our sins. We are pardoned and forgiven for our sins by our Father God. That puts us in right standing with our Father God.

There are some who walk in unforgiveness of others and don’t realise how serious this is. We are in right standing with God because we repented of our sins and excepted Jesus and our Father God has forgiven us. Yes Our Father God has forgiven us. If He hasn’t forgiven us where does that leave us? In order to walk in His salvation through Jesus, we need His forgiveness that Pardons us from our sins. If He doesn’t forgive us we are not Pardoned. Matthew 6:14-15 NIV

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Thank you Jesus! Do we truely understand what Jesus is saying here? If we do not forgive others, Our Father God will not forgive us. If our Father God doesn’t forgive us, we will not be pardoned for our sins. Holding something against someone, isn’t hurting them Spiritually, it is hurting ourselves. Satan loves this weapon of his, cause it does the most destroying of our relationship with God. Unforgiveness of others keeps us separated from God. We all need to realise how much damage unforgiveness of others is causing in our lives. It is separating us from the very Presence of our Father God.

How can we have salvation if God doesn’t forgive us? He means what He says. There’s no way of justifying our unforgiveness of others. I cant even imagine having to carry every burden of every sin in the world when I feel guilty if I commit one sin and feel miserable and have to repent. With all that sin on Jesus at the cross His love still over powered it all and His love won out and He still responded in love. We truely have no idea what He suffered, but we know it was awful and we know that He still truely loved those who did everything to hurt Him and kill Him. He saw who was behind the evilness of the hearts of man and knew that love and forgiveness is the key to having the victory over the evil of the devil. Love overcomes every stradegy of the enemy the devil. The devil is out to kill steal and destroy. He uses unforgiveness to deceive us to believe we are making our point to others. When in reality we our loosing our Fathers Gods forgiveness because we haven’t forgiven others.

If we have unforgiveness towards someone, sowing Gods word daily will release the power of the Holy Spirit To change our bitterness to compassion and love for that person. We cant do it alone. Without Gods word sown daily in our lives we are powerless. Gods word is Spirit, it is the power of the Holy Spirit that releasing change in our lives. We must get past the excuses and being deceived by the enemy who wants us to stay away from Gods word so we are powerless. Its not our words or us that have victory over the enemy. But Gods word and His power. Is not forgiving someone worth loosing our Pardon for our sins? We alone can not do it. But the power of the Holy Spirit through His word engraved in our hearts transform our minds and hearts and releases His power through our confession.

Unforgiveness isn’t hurting others, its hurting ourselves Spiritually. Lets forgive others so our Father God will forgive us. God bless you all in Jesus. I have missed you all and truely love you all in Jesus! Father God please give us a deep desire to live and breath and speak your word! We know that when we do, it is your Holy Spirit who changes our hearts and our minds and our confessions, we know that just being saved is not enough that it is through your word daily that empowers change in our life. Please help us to understand that all power to live a blessed and loving and forgiving and sinless life can only come through the power of your Holy Spirit, with excepting Jesus your Holy Spirit has been given to us. through your word, your Holy Spirit moves in our lives, we cant change ourselves. Thank you Father God for loving us and giving us your word, so through your Holy Spirit we can live a life that’s pleasing to you. We love you so much, Thank you Jesus for taking our punishment, so we can live a life of love and forever with you and our Father God! We love you so much! Thank you Holy Spirit for renewing our minds and hearts through your power in Our Father Gods word! Thank you for giving us understanding through our Father Gods word. We love you so much! May your word Father God be the desire of our hearts and minds and conversation in Jesus Thank you Father God! In Jesus Amen!
